The past 14 months have been AMAZING! It was NOT easy having my husband deployed for the first 5 months and then gone again right after she turned 1 but we do what we gotta do. Being married to a very devoted military man, I knew that we would spend time apart and we are doing just fine but I would like him home . . . like NOW!
(YES I know she is a girl but she is wearing REAL diamonds in her ears and UGGS on her feet so STOP!)
Anyways, Isabell amazes me DAILY! She talks non-stop (don't know who she gets that from) and you can even understand her words now. Nana taught her "what's that" so we do a TON of answering questions, but that is just fine with me. She shakes her head yes and I am pretty sure she understands what she is doing when she does it. We were praying for our family last night and when I said "Layla" she said "LLLLAAAALLLLLLLLLAAAAAA" so she almost has that one down too! Of course we hear the usual Mama (melts my heart) Dada picture (melts my heart) Nana, Pop (Papa) dog (and she barks) baby (then she blows a kiss) She sometimes says words and I say "what did you say" because sometimes it comes out sounding like a naughty word but she won't learn them from Mommy!
She continues to eat ANYTHING and EVERYTHING and that makes life so much easier.
She is wearing size 3 diapers and some of her clothes are 12 months and some are 18. Tall baby with short legs (wonder who she gets that from, not Mommy)
She takes 1 morning nap, usually an hour and her afternoon nap is anywhere from 2-3 hours and sometimes she will take a short nap later in the day but that was is only 30 min to an hour.
We are back on our regular sleep schedule!!!! She is out around 8-8:15 and sleeps until 8'ish in the mornin . . . CRAZY HUH!
She is almost walking, so close, but she can crawl faster than she can wobble but I just think she is waiting for Daddy to get home before she will walk and that is just fine with me!
She . . . is waking up so I gotta run but thank you all for your love and support you have shown my family. I hope you all had a very blessed weekend!
