Good Morning!

Here is Isabell with food all over her face!  She hasn't had food in awhile and only takes a few bites at a time, they told us it may take awhile to get back on track.
Daddy trying to comfort her, she wasn't too happy
Julie was making sure she was ok (you will read more about Julie soon)
He may be tough but she melts his heart
Both of my loves snoring like dogs
YUP . . we were heading HOME!
He was trying to pull her slowly, sure not to hit any bumps
Almost asleep and we weren't even on the road yet

We thought for sure that we were going to be in the hospital for quite a few more days.  Her drainaige from her chest was more than what they wanted to see, so we waited and prayed.  Saturday night she slept really good.  Didn't even wake up when I gave her meds to her and that wasn't an easy task.  They did an xray on Sunday and everything looked normal so they decided to pull her drain tube.  We both insisted that she have morphine in her body and working before they pulled it since it was in her chest about 2 inches and I have heard stories about the pain.  The surgeon came in with a few student nurses so I walked out.  Christopher stayed in the room to hold her and try to keep her calm but nothing was going to keep her from screaming her lungs out.  I was all the way at the end of the hall and I swear I heard her cry "Please stop hurting me"  Anyways . . that is hard to talk about so we will just change the subject!

We are home and trying to just lay low for awhile.  We set up her pack and play in the living room so she can sleep elevated for a few nights.  Both Chris and I are still on egde and trying to be extra careful with her.  She is still getting Tylenol around the clock so it's taking off the edge for her and I think she is figuring out what she can and can't do without pain.  No rolling for a few days and she isn't too happy about that but we just spend all of our time playing and holding her to keep her happy.  She is going to be spoiled for awhile!

Thank you all for your support!
