Less than a week :-(

It has finally hit hard that Christopher will be leaving soon, less than a week now and most of the time I'm tryin my best to hold back the tears. We made the decision to join the military years ago and we are both very proud to serve our country in any way that we can but for me to act like I'm fine is just not going to happen right now. We prayed for God to allow us to become parents in HIS time, knowing that Christopher may be leaving and his time was now and we thank him daily for our blessing. Isabell is growing nice and strong and has made great improvements and has even impressed her doctors, that's our girl! We are having an ultrasound today, meet with our doctors on Monday and back for Daddy's last look at her while she's still cooking on Tuesday. I have been going through my list of things to get done before he leaves and the other list to get done before she arrives and I feel pretty good. I am going to keep myself busy next weekend by shopping, going to stock the shelves, deep freeze and refrigerators so I don't have to worry about that and oh . . . I've been slacking on the cleaning lately too. We have both been on the base all day, everyday getting things ready and I'm not going to worry about dust and laundry now when I will have plenty of time for that real soon.

I will keep everyone posted on Christopher's status as well as my status here too. I think we are going to use "SKYPE" as our messenger/video services but we are going to check it out and I will let you know when our accounts are ready!

Please keep our family in your prayers as these next few months are not going to be the easiest ones!

Kim, I came across this video on yesterday and thought of you and Chris. Maybe it's something you could check into. I saw you were going to try Skype, but thought I would let you know about this. Glad everything is going good w/Isabell and will be praying for strength for you during this difficult transition.

Your family is in my prayers Kim! It's okay to be upset and sad. Tears are fine too. Let me know if you ever need anything or need to talk.

I'm so sorry you two have to be apart at this time. I can't imagine how hard it must be.
