Ted Nugent Concert!

It was all last minute but we were offered some tickets to the Ted Nugent show on the 4th of July for his 6000th concert. We were told that if we showed up in uniform then we would be able to do something special with Ted. After waiting at the entrance of DTE (Pine Knob) for an hour we were escorted backstage to chat with Ted then we marched on stage in front of about 15,000 people to stand at attention while he sang the National Anthem! What a rush! My knees were knocking so hard and wanted to smile because the crowd was cheering like crazy . . . but we both stood there, stone faced and VERY proud. At times, we may complain about our day to day jobs in the military but I have never felt so proud to stand in front of all those people and represent! Professional pics are on the way but here are a few!
