MARTHA STEWART . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . YOU BETTER WATCH OUT!

I spent the weekend at Simple Blessings Retreat with my future in-laws. Mamma Caine took me to "open my eyes to the crafting world" and boy did it work. I was stuck on the idea of stitching my ENTIRE quilt by hand but then she and Bev introduced me to the wonderful world of using a sewing machine and I am now a sucker. I can't remember exactly but I think there were about 20 of us figuring out our patterns, cutting, ironing, measuring, re-cutting, sewing, re-ironing then TRYING to put everything back where we started and with a little help from all the ladies . . . I got er done! I am going to be purchasing my first sewing machine really soon so watch the cover of Martha's magazine . . .

Not only did we all do a ton of work but I also got to enjoy some time in the hot tub chatting away with Aunt Lynda too. Got to know all of the ladies and man, I must say that I am one lucky girl to be marrying into such an AWESOME family!!!
