Thank God for free health insurance! The past 6 months I have been in the emergency room 8 times, meaning that the staff at Mount Clemens General knows me by name. I have had more blood taken than I care to talk about, CT scan, MRI, EKG's, IV's and so many shots stuck in my right butt cheek so needless to say, I'm over the frustration because now it's just making me MAD! I am keeping a diary of what I eat and drink, how many hours of sleep I get, the temperature on my head and outside and even how many times I go pee in one day. Just had my allergy tests done AGAIN but still, nothing is telling them anything. Yes . . . I tried the teaspoon of honey with onset and even the boil vinigar thingy so who knows? When it comes, I get shot to the ground and crawling or a wheelchair is my only form of transportation. You can forget about giving me a pill because I will just throw it up so my next step is going to see yet ANOTHER doctor to see what he can tell me. Sometimes I wish that they would just tell me that something was wrong rather than hearing "We're not sure what is causing these migraines" Our medicine cabinet can't hold one more bottle of anything and Christopher is getting upset too. I am sick and tired of being sick and tired.
Today has been a good day but maybe that's because I took one day that I had off and did NOTHING. Didn't even shower, just laid on the couch and watched America's Next Top Model Marathon from the minute Chris walked out the door (12:30 p) to when he walked back in (9:30 p) and even then I didn't get up to give him his welcome home hug but I felt like a new woman the next day!
If anyone has ever had a migraine and has some ideas for me, I would love to hear it!

I have no remedy ideas, but we will be praying for you. I can't imagine how frustrating that would be.
I'm so sorry - being sick is the worst. It is such a reminder though of how thankful we need to be when we are good and healthy.
Hi Kim,
I am a friend of Stefs :). I used to get migrines just like you. It was horrible I can totally relate to your frustration. Get off caffine...go on caffine don't eat this have you tried this.
I went to a nurologist hey had me on so many things I was a zombie and it still didn't help.
I went to an awesome Nurse Practioner. She suggested putting me on antidepressents. I was REALLY apprehensive about that but I was at my wits end. So she put me on a low dosage. Yes it had some side effects but about 6 months later I was virtually migraine free. I have them once and a while still but nothing like it used to be.
I am praying for you. I KNOW how hard it is.
my email is jenniferlabo@yahoo.com if you want to talk or have any questions.
I hope this helps!
